Angelina Jolie is an American actress, filmmaker, and humanitarian. She starred in Maleficent and its sequel Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Her other film roles include Salt, the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider films, Life or Something Like It, Mr. & Mrs. Smith alongside Brad Pitt, Wanted, and Kung Fu Panda, where she had a voice role. She also starred in the biopic Maria.
Jolie received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Girl, Interrupted, along with the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture. She also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Miniseries or Television Film for her role in George Wallace.
Behind the camera, she directed Unbroken and By the Sea. Jolie also co-wrote and directed First They Killed My Father, and wrote and directed In the Land of Blood and Honey and Without Blood.
