American singer

Darlene Love is an American singer. She is a founding member of the vocal group The Blossoms, established in 1957, and sang backing vocals on many hit records produced by Phil Spector. Love has released several albums, including Introducing Darlene Love and A Christmas Gift For You From Phil Spector with The Ronettes and The Crystals. She also released the albums Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home) and The Concert of Love. Darlene Love has popular songs such as Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)Today I Met The Boy I'm Gonna Marry, and Why Do Lovers Break Each Other's Hearts? She appeared as Motormouth Maybelle in the Broadway production of Hairspray and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. Love appeared in the Lethal Weapon franchise.
