Kelly Slater is an American surfer. He is widely regarded as the greatest competitive surfer of all time. He is a multiple-time World Surf League Champion, having won consecutive titles from 1994-1998. Slater became the most successful champion in surfing history when he won his fifth title in 1997. Slater has consistently competed at the highest level for over three decades. Slater appears in the Apple Original series Greatness Code, the documentaries Momentum Generation and View from a Blue Moon.
