

Alan Alda
Alan Alda is an American actor. Alda appeared in the series M*A*S*H from 1972 to 1983, receiving a Golden Globe Award in 1975 and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series in 1974. Alda also won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in 1979. Alda's film credits include Canadian Bacon, The Longest Ride, and What Women Want. He also appeared in the series The Big C from 2010 to 2013. Beyond acting, Alda has directed the films A New Life and Betsy's Wedding. He has also hosted two podcasts: Science Clear+Vivid Podcast, focusing on science, and Clear+Vivid with Alan Alda.
