Jodi Benson is an American actress and singer. She is the speaking and singing voice of Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid and provided voice work for Disney in the 1990s, including in The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea. Benson also appeared in various Disney straight-to-DVD movies and TV shows. She has appeared in live-action films such as Enchanted, playing the role of Sam, and in A Christmas Carol and Toy Story 3. Benson's music contributions include her popular song Part of Your World.
