Jill Scott is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She released her debut album Who Is Jill Scott?: Words and Sounds, Vol. 1 in 2000, followed by Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds, Vol. 2. Her most popular songs include Golden, The Way, and A Long Walk. Scott has appeared in the Why Did I Get Married? franchise and the series First Wives Club. She also hosted iHeartPodcasts’ personal journals podcast Jill Scott Presents: J.ill the Podcast.
