Irish actor and comedian (born 1979)

Chris O'Dowd is an Irish actor. He appeared in Channel 4's The IT Crowd from 2006 to 2013, Sky One's Moone Boy from 2012 to 2015, and Epix's Get Shorty since 2017. O'Dowd has appeared in films such as Bridesmaids, Friends With Kids, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and the Apple Original Film Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth. He has also starred in the Apple Original series The Big Door Prize. O'Dowd received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Actor in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series for his role in State of the Union.
