Gérard Philipe was a French actor. Philipe appeared in Devil in the Flesh, Beauty and the Devil, and Dangerous Liaisons. He was often cast as a romantic lead in the late '40s and '50s. He also starred in the films Such a Pretty Little Beach, Fan Fan the Tulip, and Montparnasse 19.
