With LOST TAPES 4, Sada Baby continues a prolific 2026 after previously releasing Purple Tape, Blue Tape, and Lost Tapes 3, with each project featuring at least 17 tracks. A day before this project’s release, he also announced that he would be joining fellow Detroiter Skilla Baby’s Price of Fame Tour and shared that he was 30 days sober from prescription drugs. “Ain’t nothin’ worth fighting for easy,” he wrote. “I’m kool [sic] with that.” Sobriety may be a challenge, but Sada Baby makes rapping look easy: He’s gruff, irreverent, witty, and unhinged, a nonstop binge of hustling, inebriation, and doing unspeakable things to your girl. Fans will recognize a lot of these songs as music videos or loosies from the late 2010s, but it’s still convenient to have them as a tidy release in one place. Sada trades bars with Fmb Dz on the high-octane bender “305,” “Buddy Love” flips the phrase from a viral 2010s video into a venomous threat, and “Gator Skub” reinterprets a Big Tymers classic into Sada’s own Detroit-centric brand of stunting.
