Mookie Betts is an American professional baseball player. The Boston Red Sox drafted him late in the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft, and he rose through their minor league system. Betts earned his first All-Star selection and reached 200 hits in a season in 2016. He has also played for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
