Andy Serkis is an English actor. He appeared in Oliver Twist as Bill Sikes and provided motion-capture performance as Gollum in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Serkis has also appeared in the Star Wars franchise, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Batman, and a BBC adaptation of Little Dorrit. Behind the camera, he directed Breathe and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and he was an executive producer on Next Goal Wins and the series Brilliant Minds.
