David Byrne is a Scottish-American musician. He is the frontman of Talking Heads and received an Academy Award for Best Original Score for The Last Emperor.
Byrne collaborated with Brian Eno on My Life In the Bush of Ghosts and later released an album titled American Utopia. He has also worked with St. Vincent on the album Love This Giant and the song Who.
He has appeared in several films and documentaries, including David Byrne's American Utopia, Stop Making Sense, and This Must Be the Place. One of his popular songs is Strange Overtones, which he made with Brian Eno.
