#985. What happens when the Disney girl who seemingly had it all admits her life was actually a trainwreck?Christy Carlson Romano joins Kaitlyn to talk about what was really happening behind the scenes of Even Stevens, Kim Possible, and Cadet Kelly. From blowing her Disney money on psychics (including a $20,000 crystal she never received!) to her complicated relationship with Shia LaBeouf, Christy is looking back on her Disney days with a whole new perspective. She opens up about watching her former costars become Hollywood superstars, her thoughts on Hilary Duff's comeback, and why growing up famous wasn't nearly as glamorous as it looked. Plus, the two get into people-pleasing, the pressure to have it all together, and why revisiting childhood fame isn't always as fun as the nostalgia makes it seem.Christy's new memoir, Once Upon a Trainwreck: The Fall and Rise of a Child Star, is out October 6!If you’re LOVING this podcast, please follow and leave a rating and review below!
