Vicki Lawrence is an American actress, comedian, and pop singer. Victoria Lawrence is known for originating Thelma Harper/Mama on The Carol Burnett Show, where she also received a Primetime Emmy Award for Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program. Lawrence performed with Carol Burnett and Dick Van Dyke and later appeared in spin-offs such as Mama's Family and The Best Of The Carol Burnett Show with Carol Burnett. She has also appeared in Hermie and Friends and The Cool Kids. Lawrence has released the singles There's a Gun Still Smokin' in Nashville, The Other Woman, and Love in the Hot Afternoon.
