Emmy Rossum

American actress and singer-songwriter

Emmy Rossum is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She starred as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, and in Mystic River, The Audrey Hepburn Story, and The Day After Tomorrow alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

Rossum began starring in the Showtime drama series Shameless in 2009 and appeared in the show until 2019. She also appeared in the Apple TV series The Crowded Room with Tom Holland.

She released her debut pop album, Inside Out, and her sophomore LP, Sentimental Journey, and has produced the film Comet and the series Angelyne.
