Paul Williams is an American composer, singer, songwriter, and actor. Williams released the albums I'm Going Back There Someday, Bugsy Malone, and Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. He received the Academy Award for Best Original Song for Evergreen and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for A Star Is Born. Williams also received the Grammy Award for Best Children's Music Album for The Muppet Movie. His most popular songs include Touch with Daft Punk and Faust. Williams appears in the films The Muppet Movie, Smokey and the Bandit, and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.
