Fats Waller was an American jazz pianist and composer (1904-1943). He composed the jazz standards Ain't Misbehavin' and Honeysuckle Rose, as well as songs like Jitterbug Waltz and Viper's Drag. Waller worked with artists such as Fletcher Henderson, Jack Teagarden, and Lee Wiley, and his other popular songs include Two Sleepy People and I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter. He composed the music for the Broadway musical Early to Bed, and appeared in the film Stormy Weather.
