

Adam Rippon
Adam Rippon is an American figure skater. He became the first single skater to claim two World Junior titles at the 2009 Junior World Championships and won gold at the 2016 U.S. Championships. Rippon also won silver at Skate America in 2013, bronze at the CS Finlandia Trophy in the 2017-18 season, and silver medals at both Grand Prix events that season. He placed fourth at Skate Canada in 2011, marking his first attempt at including a quad jump in his free program. Adam Rippon represented the U.S. at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, where he was the first openly gay athlete to qualify for the Olympics and one of the oldest figure skaters to compete in over 80 years.
