American jazz pianist and composer
Dave Brubeck was an American jazz pianist and composer and founder of the Dave Brubeck Quartet. He was one of the few household names in jazz, thanks to popular single Take Five. Brubeck released the albums Time Out and 1975 - The Duets with Paul Desmond. He won a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1996. His most popular songs include Brahms Lullaby, Take Five, and There's No Place Like Home. Brubeck also appeared in the documentaries Music and Wisdom.
