Louis Jordan was an American musician, songwriter, and bandleader (1908-1975). He performed as a saxophonist with artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Chick Webb, and Louis Armstrong. Jordan released the albums Man, We're Wailin', Somebody Up There Digs Me, and I Believe in Music. His most popular songs include Keep a Knockin' (But You Can't Come In), Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby?, and Choo Choo Ch'Boogie. Jordan also appeared in the films Beware, Swing Parade of 1946, and Reet, Petite and Gone.
