Deanna Durbin was a Canadian singer and actress. Following attention from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), she was given a provisional six-month studio contract and loaned out for singing engagements on the radio. Durbin appeared in Three Smart Girls with Ray Milland and released the singles O Come All Ye Faithful, Can't Help Singing, and Opera vs. Jazz.
