Don McLean is an American singer-songwriter. He is best known for his 1971 hit song American Pie. McLean was a mainstay on Billboard's adult contemporary charts in the 1970s with several other singles, including Vincent,  Castles In the Air, and Wonderful Baby. Starting with Tapestry, American Pie, and Don McLean, he has released many albums throughout the 20th and 21st centuries.
