Dr. John was an American singer-songwriter. He released albums including Gris-Gris, Dr. John's Gumbo, In the Right Place—which featured his most popular song Right Place Wrong Time—and Desitively Bonnaroo. He performed in thousands of shows worldwide some of his biggest songs include Down in New Orleans and Is You Is, Or Is You Ain't (My Baby) with B.B. King. Dr. John was recognized for his skillful and soulful approach on piano, keyboards, and guitar. He appeared on hundreds of recordings, both of his own and alongside many fellow music stars, including Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, and Gregg Allman.
