George Strait is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. Nicknamed "The King of Country Music," Strait has seen 60 songs appear on the country charts and has enjoyed more No. 1 hits than any other artist in popular music. Some of his most noteworthy albums include 1982's Strait From the Heart and 1987's Ocean Front Property, followed by Blue Clear Sky in 1996, and Carrying Your Love With Me in 1997.
