Brandon Victor Dixon is an American actor and producer. Dixon originated the role of Haywood Patterson in The Scottsboro Boys and has played Berry Gordy in Motown: The Musical, Ray Charles in Ray Charles Live, and Harpo in The Color Purple. He also produced the 2014 revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert alongside John Legend, Sara Bareilles, and Alice Cooper. Dixon starred in the film Your Monster and produced 88. His music contributions include his popular single #WeAre.
