Mary Martin was an American actress. She is known for originating the role of Peter Pan in the Broadway musical. Martin also starred in the musicals South Pacific and The Sound of Music. She received an Emmy Award for the televised version of Peter Pan in 1956. Martin released the singles My Heart Belongs to Daddy, The Sweetest Sight, and I'll Walk Alone.
