He has appeared in films such as Jappeloup, Last Night, Merry Christmas, The Beach alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, and War of the Buttons. Behind the camera, he directed Tell No One and Blood Ties, and produced and starred in In the Name of My Daughter. Additionally, Canet released the single Ça plane pour moi from the soundtrack Rock'n Roll.
