Dorothy Lamour was an American actress and singer (1914-1996). She began her career in the 1930s as a big band singer before signing with Paramount Pictures in 1936. Lamour became known as the Sarong Queen and appeared in many films such as They Got Me Covered, Donovan's Reef alongside John Wayne, Road to Bali, and The Greatest Show on Earth with James Stewart.
